Breaking News: OJ Publisher Fired Just Before Christmas
Breaking News, December 16th 2006Rupert Murdoch has fired the publisher responsible for the OJ Simpson book debacle "If I Did It". Judith Regan has made many controversial and unwise decisions as a publisher for Murdoch's empire, but none so egregious as this one. Fox narrowly missed adding insult to injury by having a matching television show. Thankfully, someone came to their senses in time. So how is this American Fiction? Well, we all think perhaps it is a true story, but since he was found not guilty, he can call this fiction as much as he'd like. Regardless of your opinion on OJ and this so-called work of fiction, he isn't even the real reason Judith Regan got fired. Apparantly, she "pulled a Gibson" and spent several hours ranting and raving to the Fox lawyers in an unprovoked anti semitic (and anti everyone else) tirade.
